Demographics of Belgium
The population recorded until 2020 was around 11.6 million, approximately 0.15% of the world population. Belgium is the 22nd most densely populated country in the world, and the 6th in Europe, which is around 383 people per km2. Among them, 98.3% of the population is urban. Around 58% is from the Flemish region, such as Antwerp, Ghent, and Bruges.
